Thanks to our donors and how to make your donation to the RWA
Funding is our major need
It was one individual's kind deed, a small dedicated donation, that inspired Richard Moore, founder of the Friends of Rye Wurlitzer charity,
to create the Rye Wurlitzer Academy (RWA). Richard's vision was that everything should be FREE to the students. Every student would
be given a FREE home practise organ (kindly donated by local supporters), FREE music, and above all else, FREE tuition with a
professional music teacher. Of course, whilst these benefits are free to the students, there is still a cost to the organisation, the Rye
Wurlitzer Academy.
We believe the Academy is the only project of its kind in the entire world. The RWA has achieved great things in a short space of time,
but in order for this valuable scheme to be able to continue, we need to find reliable sources of funding, which will transform our project
into a permanent feature and will allow it to grow in so many ways. If you feel able to offer financial support to this scheme, taking our
musical heritage to new generations, please use one of the links below.
There are four ways in which you could donate:
•
You could choose to make a one-off donation via the PayPal secure server link below. All major debit and credit cards can be
accepted, or if you prefer you can use Paypal.
•
You could support our Sponsor A Student scheme for just £14 a month. Simply click on the link to download a standing order
mandate, print it and send it to your bank.
•
You may prefer to make a one-off donation by post. Cheques should be made payable to Rye Wurlitzer Academy and sent to Rye
Wurlitzer Academy, 180 Sedlescombe Road North, St. Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN37 7EN.
•
You may feel it is best when planning your estate to leave a long lasting legacy to the RWA
Whichever method you choose, we are grateful for your support.
Our Roll of Honour - We would like to thank the following for their donations and support for the development of our very special
project since November 2009. We recognise that several of our supporters have donated more than once and this means a lot to us and
that our project is being recognised for a “job well done”
